Hello
My name is Sheila Boatright-Goodin
Sheila Boatright-Goodin APRN, was born and raised in Harlan County Kentucky. She was the last of 13 children. As a child she enjoyed fishing, skating, drive-in movies, and lazy Sundays. She was a graduate of James A. Cawood High School and then went on to complete her degrees at Southeast, Chamberlain, and ETSU. She was a part of the Honors Society and is a Certified Medical Examiner.

She started out as a CNA in 1991 and moved into the FNP role by 2016. She chose this career path as a child, and it has been life long dream of hers to love and take care of others. She has been a Family Nurse Practitioner now for six years with Family Health Care Associates. She loves caring for kids in the school system, her patients at the clinic, and being entrusted by a company to practice independently and responsibly. Her goal in the future is to advance in her role and grow as a practitioner, to be able to educate and inform her community in illness and disease processes. She wants to continue with research in new developments and treatment plans for diseases. She wants to be an asset to the practice and community she serves.

Sheila loves UK Basketball (GO CATS) and church with family and friends. She is married with 3 children, 1 bonus child, and 4 grandchildren. As a family they love to grill out, travel, gardening, riding motorcycles, and exploring places they have never been before.
